Adult Literacy Program

Christ Enrichment Center offers year round one-to-one tutoring for adult ages 17 and up. The Adult Literacy Program offers the following:

• General Education Degree (GED) preparation. If a student is having problems with passing the GED test we are able to better prepare the student with the required skills needed to achieve a passing score.

• Grade level improvement for low level readers.

• Evaluations to determine the current grade level of reading and math skills.

• Personalized one to-one tutoring.

• Convenient tutoring times for both student and tutor.

Volunteer Tutor Positions Available. If you are interested in becoming a tutor in our adult literacy program and meet the minimum requirement listed below please contact our adult literacy department.

• At least 12 hours of tutor training. (Tutor training is offered by the Genesee Literacy Coalition, call for training dates and time.)
