Science & Technology

Longway Planetarium 1310 East Kearsley Street, Flint, MI 48503, 810-237-3400, The largest planetarium in Michigan, this planetarium features 285 seats under an impressive 60 foot dome, as well as popular hands-on science activities which allow families to have fun while learning about science. Laser light shows are also presented periodically featuring both rock music and family oriented music.

Tours & Cruises

Libraries & Research Centers

The library is also home to the second largest open stack genealogical collection in Michigan and they are a Federal Depository Library for government documents.

Kettering Alumni Collection of Industrial History 1700 West Third Avenue, Flint, MI 48504, Located at Kettering University, 810-762-9890, Established in 1974, this unique collection of William Crapo Durant, the founder of General Motors, focuses on the people who created and shaped American industry. You may browse through this collection of economic, industrial, and business history which is the largest collection of automotive papers in the nation.
