COMPUTER LAB
Open to students in grades 4 -12
Students get beginner and intermediate level
instruction in: word processing, data entry and
graphics. Students become familiar with internet
searching, MS Word, Excel and Publisher.
COLLEGE BOUND
Designed to enhance students in grades 9 – 12
chances of achieving a higher score on the ACT
by providing computer and text book
training aides.
PERSONALIZED TUTORING
Through small group or one-to-one tutoring students
in grades 1 – 9 will be provided assistance in math,
reading and English. Homework assistance
available.
DRAMA CLASS
Students in grades K-12 are taught basic acting techniques, the workings of theater, theater
vocabulary, and procedures. All students will
perform
in two scheduled productions.
PIANO LESSONS
Through small group lessons students are taught
basic piano skills that enable them to read music,
play scales, chords and accurate pieces in a variety
of styles and keys.
BALLET, JAZZ & TAP DANCE CLASS
This course focuses on the principle and skill
development in ballet, jazz and tap dance, which
emphasize proper body alignment, strength,
flexibility and movement.
MARTIAL ARTS
Open to students in grades K-12
Students gain self-awareness and basic skills
in personal defense.
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Using digital cameras provided by CEC, students
ingrades 5 - 12 will learn basic camera operations
and photo processing skills to completing projects
in portrait, action and architecture photo shoot.
DRAWING & PAINTING
Beginner: Intro to lines, form, sketching techniques.
Intermediate: Composition, perspective, shading.
Advanced: Work with color value and harmony.
Paint still-life and landscapes in acrylic.
VOCAL TRAINING
Through one-on-one and small group coaching, students learn to use their voices as instruments, expand their vocal range and practice choral
singing concepts.
